Invitations for Northeastern University's NSLS Chapter are sent via email and to your home address every semester to students who meet the following criteria:

All members of the NSLS at NEU must have at least a 3.0 GPA. They must also have completed at least 1 full semester of classes as a Northeastern student (15 credits at minimum). Once you receive an NSLS invitation to your NEU email, you can accept your invitation to join & can begin working on your 4 steps to induction. You can take as long as you need based on your availability & free time to complete these steps to induction. Most students take 1 semester, others take 2; its completely up to you!

The value of an NSLS membership is a one-time payment of $95 to the NSLS through your Member Portal. If you are unable to make this payment, there are many “free” memberships as the NSLS sets $ aside every semester to grant to students that qualify. After you receive an email invitation, if you believe you cannot make this payment, please email our President & VP.
